Update on Aug 13, 2024,This upgrade is mainly an improvement to MOPA’s ability to match audio signal sources. MOPA integrates a signal amplification module internally, which can amplify the signal of a high-impedance output signal generator. The previous MOPA was basically only compatible with GB4000 and FY6900. Currently, it is basically compatible with all signal generators or single-chip computers or 555 circuits. Technical parameters: Compatible with COMS/TTL signal inputs, the effective high input voltage is greater than 2.4V (logic 1), and the effective low input voltage is less than 0.8V (logic 0). Setting of the signal generator: Select COMS or square wave for the waveform, and the output positive voltage signal is only greater than 2.4V. Generally, the amplitude is set to 3V. If MOPA cannot be driven, it means that the actual output positive voltage signal at this time is 1.5V (difference between signal generators). At this time, you only need to modify the amplitude to 6V.

The basic principle of the Rife MOPA I made is the same as the GB4000 MOPA, but the plasma tube can output more power.

The following are the differences from GB4000 MOPA:

1.The output power of the plasma tube is greater than the GB4000 MOPA, whether it is the length between the tube electrodes or the brightness of the plasma tube can be clearly seen. The input current of the GB4000 MOPA can be seen from the ammeter, which obviously exceeds 200mA, but the reason why the lamp has low brightness and short length is that a large part of the power is wasted in the internal circuit. Basically all the power I made is used to output and ignite the plasma tube, so you can see that the brightness of the tube is very high.

2.The material of the plasma tube is different from that of the GB4000 MOPA. My tube is made of quartz, which has better light transmittance and is the same material as the original Rife tube. The plasma tube is 60cm long and 5cm in diameter. The recommended distance between the electrodes is 35cm.

3.It is not only suitable for GB4000 frequency generator, but also for feeltech frequency generator or other frequency generators. As long as the input waveform is set to 10V-15V CMOS, it is also possible to change the square wave to CMOS with only positive pulse value by setting the DC bias.

4.Carrier frequency 1.8-3.1MHZ,and Adjustable(Due to the element parameters, there will be an error of 100 kHz.)。The highest carrier frequency can be customized.
5.Audio frequency 0.1hz-100khz,

Radiant Frequency Machine Technology

Modern solid state circuitry uses low voltage, high current designs, to avoid the additional engineering and component costs involved in building the types of machines used in the 1930's and 1940's. The M.O.P.A amplifier/oscillator combines solid state design with analog vacuum tube technology to generate a high voltage, low current output to light the plasma tube. The ability to produce a high voltage, low current output to drive the plasma tube makes the MOPA, coupled with the GB4000 frequency generator unique in the market. And even with the advantages of vacuume tube design, it is still almost $1500.00 less than other comparable plasma tube machines.

The M.O.P.A. radiant frequency amplifier uses a plasma tube to broadcast the frequency, which is a non-contact method. Using a gas filled plasma tube allows for a maximum output power of approximately 118 watts. For the first time since the Ray Tube devices of the 1930s, the M.O.P.A. uses high grequencies directly output through the gas filled tube method. If you want to use the more powerful, versatile 1930s/1950s radiant method, then the M.O.P.A. amplifier with the FY6900/GB4000 frequency generator is the instrument you will want to own.

RF vs EM Systems

All gas tube instruments that are EM (electro-magnetic) do not use RF (radio frequency) frequencies or an RF carrier frequency. They use coils to produce a high electromagnetic field to carry the frequencies to the target. Due to the fact that they use EM to deliver the frequencies they are limited to about 10,000 Hertz but a few go to 30,000 Hertz. Since they do not use an RF carrier frequency it is almost impossible to determine their power output. For this reason almost none of these manufacturers list the power output of their equipment. They generally are very good instruments except for their limited frequency range. Anyone who purchases the EM type of equipment should understand that they only output low audio frequencies and have no RF carrier frequency. All the original 1920s through the 1950s instruments used RF and had an average power output from about 40 to about 200 watts.
